Heather Lang and Jamie Harper will be here to sign copies of SUPERMOMS!, their lively picture book which investigates the amazing lengths animal mothers go to in caring for their young. The book is co-authored by Lang and Harper, with comic-style illustrated panels by Jamie Harper.
Heather Lang lives in Lexington MA. She writes picture books that celebrate our natural world and biographies about real women who overcame extraordinary obstacles to follow their dreams. Her award-winning books include Swimming with Sharks, Anybody's Game, and The Leaf Detective, an NSTA/CBC Best STEM Book and Green Earth Book Award winner.
Jamie Harper lives in Weston, MA. She is the author and illustrator of many books for children. Her popular Miss Mingo series includes Miss Mingo and the 100th Day of School,) and three
other books about the indomitable Miss Mingo and her Kindergarten class of lovable animals. Her other books include Miles to Go and Miles to the Finish, both for younger readers, as well as the Baby Bundt board book series. Jamie also illustrated the Emma and EllRay chapter books, written by Sally Warner.
